Marketing Data Analyst - Data Strategy for International Expansion

My background combines Data Science, Marketing, International Economics, Global Trade, and Political Analysis. This lets me look at a problem from several angles at once. I connect economic trends, consumer behavior, political environments, and market dynamics to show the bigger picture, instead of reading data in isolation.

I have worked on projects across a wide range of sectors:

  • Insurance & employment analytics - analyzing employment and insurance data to identify patterns and support strategic decisions.
  • Automotive industry & Brexit - my thesis studied the impact of Brexit on automotive sales through data-driven economic analysis, and how geopolitical events move markets.
  • Political advertising in Belgium - used clustering and machine learning to uncover how political campaigns target audiences and how data segmentation shapes communication strategy.
  • Healthcare & artificial intelligence - contributed to research using neural networks for cancer detection from X-ray images, combining AI with medical imaging to support diagnosis.

I studied medicine before moving into data science. That gave me a scientific mindset and a real curiosity for complex systems. It also means I can talk across technical, scientific, and business teams, and turn complexity into something people can act on.

Today I help organizations use data to understand what already happened, and to anticipate what comes next: market visibility, customer behavior, geopolitical risk, international trade, and competitive intelligence.

If you want to strengthen your company's visibility, understand your industry better, anticipate political or economic shifts, or build a data strategy that combines analytics, marketing, AI, and international business, I'd be glad to connect. Let's turn your data into your next competitive advantage.
